New Year’s Eve is typically our busiest of the year, be sure to stop before then. We’ll even unload the car for you! We have 12 locations in southeastern Iowa and western Illinois with convenient hours.
Free security November 20, 2009
Nothing is free anymore, right? Well, you can get some free security for your new Goodwill Reboot computer. AVG offers several levels of security software, including the Anti-Virus Free Edition. Check out the system requirements and then simply download the software from the site.
Bring us your poor, your tired, your broken down computers November 4, 2009
That’s right, your computer doesn’t even have to be working for us to accept it. We fix whatever we can. The rest, we are paid to recycle with a zero-landfill partner. It’s a great win-win-win situation. You don’t have to pay to scrap that hulking monitor taking up valuable desktop space. Dangerous items don’t end up in our landfills. And we get more money to fund our mission of advancing the well-being of people who experience barriers to independence.
The only broken item we are unable to accept are cracked CRTs. Unfortunately, the best way to dispose of those is through your local recycling program or landfill.

Shopping for software is easiest if you bring some basic information about your system, like your processor speed and available memory. For printer cartridges, know your printer’s make and model number to ensure choosing the correct cartridge for your needs.

We understand that giving up your laptop is tough. However, we find good homes for the laptops you bring us. In fact, we have lots of people who would love to welcome your old laptop into a loving home. We’ll take good care of it. And when you bring them to Goodwill, you won’t pay fees.
